making the jump to a better future
By silver elves
Quantum Jumps is a really good book. We have to confess a certain bias, in the fact that in our own rudimentary explorations of Quantum Psychics we'd arrived at most of the same conclusions, backed up by our own Quantum Jump experiences; so we were primed to love this book. Besides giving one a basic understanding of the reality of Quantum Jumping, it also gives one exercises and hints to increase one's ability in making Quantum Jumps and backs this up with real life stories as well as loads of scientific data. If you're ready to change your life for the better in magical ways, this is the book for you.

6 Star Mix of Consciousness and Physics - a Life-Changing Book
By Robert David STEELE Vivas
The author asked me to review this book, and I agreed because it comes at a good time in my 61-year long life. I have read it along with Peter Levine's In an Unspoken Voice: How the Body Releases Trauma and Restores Goodness and The Druid of Harley Street: The Spiritual Psychology of E. Graham Howe. Waiting to be read in this series is The Seven Mysteries of Life: An Exploration of Science and Philosophy.
Among them all this is the 6 star special (my top 10% acorss 1,900+ non-fiction reviews), the easiest to grasp, the most meaningful for those seeking to make the leap from being trapped in a world controlled by a malevolent 1%, to a world in which we have a greater effect on ourselves and our community.
My past reading lists, all leading to Amazon, in this general area are easily found by searching for
Worth a Look: Book Reviews on Conscious, Evolutionary, Integral Activism & Goodness
Worth a Look: Book Reviews on Evolutionary Dynamics
What most impressed me about this book was its deep appreciation of real-world physics -- it was not until the end of the book that I realized that the author was trained in this discipline and has a very healthy bibliography in that discipline included in the book. This is NOT a "kum-ba-ya" book. Indeed, physics is just now coming to grips with the reality that consciousness matters (pun intended), see the below books
Quantum Enigma: Physics Encounters Consciousness
The Future of the Mind: The Scientific Quest to Understand, Enhance, and Empower the Mind
Quantum Healing: Exploring the Frontiers of Mind/Body Medicine
and also these two easily found and *very recent* headlines:

At a personal level, I found this book totally engaging, provocative, and very very credible. This book helps nurture open minds that embrace the possibility of multiple perceptions of reality. Most importantly for me, this book helps show that every decision is a choice between realities. This is a weight-loss book, a self-improvement book, a human relations book, a Gandhi-like "be the change you want to see" book.
At a meta-level, this book is totally consistent with academic literature as well as life experience, and it makes the point that reality exists at scales from the nano to the cosmic within which "human scale" is but one point on the spectrum. Inter-species consciousness and being worthy of a larger cosmic role are in here.
This is a book relevant to thinking about advanced Information Operations (IO). It helps move beyond the static binary era of sequential, linear, on/off thinking and into the age of quantum entanglement.
I have spent twenty years thinking about how to create or nurture the emergent world brain, and I have a note on page 65 stimulated by the author's words, "World Brain exists, we are the retards." I refer to animal and plant and even sentient rock consciousness, all of them talking to one another, we are the ones in a toxic bubble of our own making.
New to me in this book is "retro-causation" or the alteration of PAST history by present intention and future vision. This applies among many other critical topics to climate change, fracking, fraudulent medicine, war, genocide, other atrocities, and patterns of crime including the now popular elite pedophilia that both the state and the church enable without criticism.
New to me is the fullness of meditation options that do not require assuming positions, reciting mantras, etcetera.
Helpful to me is the reiteration of how important it is to get over the past and focus on the good, focus on the intention. Also helpful to me is the reiteration of ancient wisdom, sound mind in a sound body -- with a sound soul. Those that are unemployed -- 22.4% in the USA (the government lies) -- could usefull consider their forced down time as an opportunity to recreate their body and settle their soul. For me the past six years have been very hard in traditional terms measured by money, and very positive in emergent terms measured by possibilities.
I have marked this book heavily and will not be donating it to the library -- this is a 6 star keeper that I will look at again in the future.
A few other books I have reviewed here at Amazon came to mind as I read through this wonderful contribution, and I list them here, knowing there are many others [too few of the reviewers use the Amazon link feature, I recommend this to one and all]:
Hans Swegen, Global Mind: The Ultimate Information Process [ISBN 1858632587] Amazon cheats us all by not allowing mported products to come up under the Link feature -- this *is* shown at Amazon along with my review but you have to search for it in the Amazon main search bar. This book was decades ahead of its time in understanding the DNA of information and the DNA of humanity were one and the same.
Empowering Public Wisdom: A Practical Vision of Citizen-Led Politics (Manifesto Series)
The Tao of Democracy: Using Co-Intelligence to Create a World that Works for All
Nonzero: The Logic of Human Destiny
Collapsing Consciously: Transformative Truths for Turbulent Times (Sacred Activism)
This is an extraordinary book that bridges the gap between those thinking about consciousness and those preoccupied with tradtional sciences that have failed to make the leap with spiritual growth commensurate to their technical growth.
Best wishes to all,
Robert David STEELE Vivas

A Great Read
By Chingster23
I wear a mask to bed because the darkness helps me sleep.
That’s not entirely true.
I have always been afraid of the dark because as long as I can remember I have seen people in my bedroom that aren’t real. Not every night; just enough to scare the living hell out of me.
It started when I was a child, continued through my adulthood, and I later learned (through my Mum) that a man and his dog would watch me from the end of my bed when I was a toddler.
I have many strange tales to tell, but the strangest one of all happened when I was aged 8 or 9 during a sleepover at my Grandmothers.
I was sleeping in my Uncle Ian’s bedroom and I remember being scared because posters of Kiss and David Bowie adorned his walls. It seems stupid now but back then a fully painted Gene Simmons, and Ziggy Stardust, was no different than a crazed clown.
One night I woke up, looked to the left hand side of my bed, and there sitting on a chair next to me was my uncle Ian; quite remarkable considering he wasn’t even at home that night.
I closed my eyes, hid underneath the blankets and stayed there until I fell asleep. When you see a dead person, or an apparition of a stranger, you can explain it through the medium of ghosts.
My Uncle Ian is still alive, and well, to this day.
It has always perplexed me…until now.
Cynthia Sue Larson is the author of Quantum Jumps: An Extraordinary Science of Happiness and Prosperity. If she were to read this then she would not be perplexed. Instead, she would say there is a perfectly rational explanation – I made a quantum jump.
A quantum jump is a leap from one state of being to another, and she has gotten me asking the same question time and time again.
“Is it really that far-fetched to believe that there are parallel universes, and multiple versions of myself?”
It makes me think of a fish swimming quietly amongst the school. It believes that the river is its entire world. Then one day it catches a glint in the water, a searing pain in its mouth, a bright life, a whole new world, and before you know it the fish is back in the water, only this time covered in a scarlet cloud.
The fish tells the other fish of a new waterless world. The other fish just think he’s a few scales short of a full mackerel.
So what does this old fish think?
I find the science of quantum physics too complicated. There is a block in my mind whenever it comes to science, maths or anything else that requires me to think. If you can’t explain it to me like I am an idiot then I lose interest.
Parts of the book were like that for me.
There were also times when I was getting confused between quantum jumping, the Law of Attraction and good old-fashioned affirmations and positive mental attitude. I am a firm believer that 99% of all self-help books are merely derivatives from Think and Grow Rich, and on times I got the same feeling about this book. The same useful stuff packaged in a different way.
But perhaps I was thinking this way because I am still a stubborn old fool at heart. A changing man I may be, but I still have more than a residue of the old pessimist stuck in my psyche; that being said, there was more than enough content in the book to keep me intrigued.
And what about Larson?
When I was reading the book I could feel the power of her conviction through her writing. I kept hearing Neo’s voice after he had been to see the Oracle and she told him that he wasn’t The One.
“For a moment he had me convinced.” Neo said referring to Morpheus’s stubborn belief that he was The One.
I am feeling just like Neo.
I feel like I have been to see the Oracle, only I have gotten to hear some good news.
It takes no more energy to think big as it does to think small.
I have decided to think big.
Since convincing myself that quantum jumping is possible, a few strange things have happened to me, but more importantly, it has made me happier to believe that there are multiple versions of me finding happiness in each individual universe.
And I like feeling happy.
